Designed as an ultra-warm insulation layer for the waterfowl hunter, the Flyway Jacket is made from a new Sektor™ Technology windproof stitch-free woven baffle construction that’s packed with high-loft synthetic FiberBall™ Insulation. The jacket is purpose-built for cold, wet, and windy conditions that would otherwise send some hunters packing.

The innovative Sektor™ outer-layer stretch fabric is made up of two layers that are woven together to create compartments for the insulation. Free of needle holes, a windproof, extremely water resistant, and highly durable insulation chamber is created. The proven FiberBall™ synthetic insulation is designed to mimic the shape and insulating properties of goose down clusters, making it an ideal and easy-care synthetic alternative.

With the waterfowl hunter’s demands top of mind, the jacket is crafted with a purpose-driven fit and gusseted underarm for no lift, full articulation, and unrestricted shooting ability. The jacket’s overall length is balanced for both field use and while wearing the HD Flex Wader in flooded timber situations. In extreme wet conditions it can be comfortably layered under the HD Flex Storm Shell Jacket.

Additional features include upper and lower hand pockets with magnetic closure and Sherpa fleece lined—upper hand pockets are accessible while wearing waders, waterproof cuffs, back-cinch adjustable hood, adjustable hem cinch, and pit zip ventilation.

Fit & Layering

This insulated mid-layer jacket is designed to go over a base layer and a light mid-layer fleece, while trim enough to layer under a waterproof rain shell, all in the same size. Only upsize if you measure between sizes or prefer a loose fit.
